Ponte Mammolo — overview

Ponte Mammolo station — Rome underground

Ponte Mammolo was built in the late 1980s with the rest of the Rebibbia section, but stayed shut: at the time the area was not yet inhabited and the road junction that would make it useful did not exist. It entered service only on 13 December 1995. It is an elevated station entered from street level, with two platforms, and is now an important interchange with buses for Tivoli and the Aniene valley.
