Alessandrino — overview

The Alessandrino worksite, opened in July 2007, forced the closure of a stretch of via Casilina around piazza Sor Capanna; surface works finished in September 2012 and the road was handed back to the city. The station entered service on 9 November 2014 with Line C's first section. It serves the Alessandrino district in the eastern suburbs.
