Grotte Celoni — overview

Grotte Celoni is the oldest of the stops inherited from the railway: it opened on 26 December 1926 as "Grotta Celona", at first a request stop served only by the mixed trains coming from the quarries. Closed in 2008 for conversion, it returned to service as a Line C station on 9 November 2014. The old station building is still there, shut.
