Barberini station — Rome underground

Barberini serves piazza Barberini with Bernini's Triton Fountain, and is the handiest stop for the Trevi Fountain, a few minutes on foot. Its full name is Barberini-Fontana di Trevi. It belongs to the 1980 first section. It is an underground station with the two tracks in separate tunnels; on 21 March 2019 it closed for a few hours after an escalator accident.
