Battistini — overview
Battistini is the north-western terminus of Line A, opened on 1 January 2000 at the end of a 4.5 km extension that had begun about a decade earlier. The station is underground, with both tracks on the same level, and serves the Primavalle-Torrevecchia district. It is an important interchange for anyone arriving from the north-west: surface routes leave from here towards Boccea, Casalotti and the towns along the via Aurelia.
