Ponte Lungo takes its name from the old bridge over the Almone along via Tuscolana. It is a neighbourhood stop from the first section of 16 February 1980: underground, with the two tracks in separate tunnels and island platforms. It serves the residential area between Appio-Latino and Tuscolano.
