Valle Aurelia — overview

Valle Aurelia station — Rome underground

Valle Aurelia is where Line A meets the railway: it connects with Roma Valle Aurelia station on the FL3 line to Viterbo. The stop was brought into use on 29 May 1999 as the temporary terminus of the extension, and lost that role on 1 January 2000 when the line reached Battistini. It is an underground station with two stacked bores; the upper one runs towards Battistini.
