Finocchio — overview

Finocchio station — Rome underground

Finocchio keeps the name it carried as a stop on the Rome–Fiuggi–Alatri–Frosinone railway. Closed on 7 July 2008 for conversion works, it reopened as a metro station on 9 November 2014. It serves the suburb of the same name in the eastern periphery, beyond the ring road, in an area of low houses and small villas.
